2018 STATE OF MONTANA SURPLUS PROPERTY AUCTION - LIVE AUCTION with live simulcast bidding available to those who can't attend.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th beginning at 9 AM.
16 W Custer Ave., Helena, MT. At the corner of Custer Ave. and Henderson next to the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds.
Online simulcast bidding available to those that cannot attend. There will be a 10% Internet Premiumadded to the final bid price to determine the final sales price. Proxy bids will be accepted beginning on Sept. 27th and will not be accepted once the live auction begins, at that point any additional bidding will be in conjunction with the live auction as items are being sold.
INSPECTION & REGISTRATION: Thurs. and Fri., Sept. 27th & 28th from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. and beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 29th. Keys for vehicles and equipment will be available Thursday and Friday for start-up purposes only, no keys will be given out after 4:30. Vehicles can only be started by licensed and insured individuals. Keys will not be available day of sale and equipment will not be started during the auction.
REMOVAL TIME: Day of auction until 5:00 p.m. or Monday, October 1st thru Friday, October 5th between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.. Call 444-9921 to make an appointment. All items remaining after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5th will be assessed a fee of $10.00 per item per day.

CONDITIONS OF SALE: The herein described personal property will be offered for sale at public auction by the State of Montana. Although information has been obtained from sources deemed reliable, the auctioneer makes no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the information herein contained. It is for this reason that buyers should avail themselves of the opportunity to make personal inspection prior to the auction. All items offered for sale shall be sold “as is, where is” with all faults. Statements day of sale take precedence over printed material.
PAYMENT FOR AUCTION ATTENDEES: Payment must be made in U.S. funds during or immediately following the auction by cash or bankable check accompanied by a letter from the payor’s bank guaranteeing payment to Pate Auction Inc.. Credit Cards will be accepted for a fee of 3% of purchase price.
Online bidding will be available with live simulcast, register on the website or download the Pate Auction app to your mobile device. If you are attending the auction in person, you must register on-site at the registration trailer!
ONLINE BIDDING: There will be a 10% Internet Premium added to the final bid price to determine the final sales price.
Registration requires a valid credit card to confirm your identity. A confirmation that you have at least $100 will be required. WE DO NOT charge for registration. This card will only be charged if you are a winning bidder on any item(s).
All ONLINE transactions will be charged immediately following the auction using the credit card on file (given at time of registration) UNLESS the invoice is over $2,000.01.
Bidders with invoices over $2,000.01 must contact Pate Auction to make arrangements for payment.. If payment is not received, Pate Auction, Inc. will attempt to collect by charging the credit card on file for the full amount or any amount less than the purchase price. No item will be released until satisfactory U.S. funds have been received in the Auctioneer's account.
